First outlet outside of Korea - Mad for Garlic

We decided to try this place out for birthday celebration. My friend saw this groupon voucher and wanted to test out if it works. So she bought the voucher to use.

It is located at the obscure end of eateries, in an indirect human traffic location. Basically it is not a must-pass by route.
You will need to pass by Starbucks & Ding Tai feng to get to the restaurant.

I must say the location is not so good, so it is difficult to get walk-in crowd.

I personally been to the Starbucks beside it & never recall seeing Mad for Garlic :)

Anyway, we decided to eat at this place and surprisingly first impression was quite good. The ambience looks classy. I kind of like it because of the display of wine on one side.

We had our seat in a comfortable booth and started checking out the menu.

The waitress came and gave us a lot of recommendation.

We ordered a nacho pizza, a lobster cream pasta and garlic fried rice.

A while later, a higher position looking waitress (maybe manager) came and told us nacho pizza ran out of beef. We were quite surprised given that it is only 1pm on Friday. How are they going to cope with business with such planning? We replaced with snowy pizza but couldn't help wonder if it is due to the voucher that we were 'not-allowed' to order the nacho pizza :)

However, we didn't let that spoil our happy mood.

Cobb Salad - a lot of olive oil

Lobster Garlic Pasta - recommend

Garlic Fried Rice

snowing pizza - yummy *disclaimer I like sweet stuff
