Keng Eng Kee Seafood

This is a typical Singapore Style eating place - zichar type of coffeeshop

Kee Eng Kee

If you want to eat inside the air-conditioner room, do make your reservation early. Here's the website http://www.kek.com.sg/#!/home.

The famous food is salted egg crab. However, we did not order that as our family favorite is Chilli Crab.

Chilli Crab
I personally find that they used too much starch in the chilli crab sauce, making it too thick and starchy to consume. Next time, I will try the salted egg version.
Here's the rest of the food we ordered.
Claypot Pork Liver

Stir-fry Vegetables

Butter Cereal Prawns

Steam buns usually to go with the crab but some prefer to eat them alone

Spring Onion fry Venison

Prawn paste Fried Chicken

The liver was the first dish to be served, it was piping hot in claypot and tasted yummy. Do order if you eat liver. It is rich in iron. :)
The butter cereal prawns was up to standard. Typical you can find at most zichar places.

Steam buns usually eaten dipping into the chilli crab sauce, thou some prefer to eat them without any dipping.

The prawn paste chicken did not look delicious when served. Surprisingly, the prawn paste chicken tasted very well despite it's look. It was crispy and delicious.

One plus point of this place is that they accept CREDIT CARD payment. Thumb up! Good food reasonable price. Overall we spent about $140.
